Gene DePrez has over 35 years of corporate, consulting, association and government experience providing strategy and transformation for international businesses, governments and public/private development organizations in North America and Europe. As a global practice leader for IBM Global Business Services and Price Waterhouse Coopers Consulting he has advised more than 400 Fortune 1000 company CEOs and other executives executing global location strategy and site selection across a broad spectrum of sectors involving worldwide location decisions, expansions and M&A consolidations related to headquarters, research centers, manufacturing and other specialized operations. Projects have included overall global strategy and comparative regional, country and city assessments and comprehensive site selection program execution involving individual projects totaling more than $5 billion million in capital investment and thousands of high paying jobs. Mr. DePrez has also provided insight and collaborative innovation based economic development strategy to over 100 development organizations at the national/ state/provincial, and metro-regional levels in the US, Canada, Mexico, UK and Europe. Earlier he was CEO of a national data and partnership building organization organized by the White House, national trade and voluntary associations, foundations, and state and local officials. He also has led regional economic development agencies in the US and the UK and was a university administrator.
